A new life for an overlooked hotel.
Project
The Shuffle
Pilot transformed a 1970s long-term-stay hotel into 81 modern micro-suites and apartments in downtown Dartmouth. The adaptive reuse project involved significant concrete restoration, a two-storey vertical expansion, and phased construction within an occupied building. Through careful sequencing, practical problem-solving, and close coordination with residents and trades, Pilot kept the work moving safely while repositioning the property for long-term use.
